LOG PICK UP

We have the equipment to pick up your felled logs. We work with a network of tree service professionals whom we can recommend to take down your standing trees. These companies will leave the logs in the appropriate length to accommodate your project. We look forward to seeing your beautiful trees and bring new life in to them.

MILLING

Every slab and board that leaves our facility started on the mill.  We can mill logs up to 36 inches in diameter and 18 feet in length. Urban logs often have hardware like nails or barbed wire embedded under the bark.  If we hit something unexpected, we will ask you to pay for the cost of the blade.

KILN DRYING

Low and slow is how we dry lumber for woodworking.  We utilize Ebac kiln units; an average kiln run is eight weeks.  We can dry up to 10,000 board feet in one cycle. Products over 2 inches thick will take longer than eight weeks to dry.  We do separate kiln cycles for hardwoods (oak, ash) and softwoods (pine, cedar).

GREEN LUMBER

We mill and sell green or “non-kiln dried” lumber for use outdoors.  Some uses for green lumber include trailer decking, outdoor furniture, fence posts,  fence boards, and blocking material.
